In a tight battle for second in the men’s race, it came down to just three minutes over 4 and half hours that separated Ian Mckinley from eventual bronze medallist Matthew Fortuna. In the women’s race, Annie Jean, of Chelsea, QC came in second place, and Sarah Runyon rounded out the top three.
All top 3 runners are automatically selected to represent Canada at the World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships in Slovenia. |
