Adele started running cross country and track in high school and continued to do so at the University of Victoria until an accident and subsequent injuries knocked her out as a freshman. After almost a decade away from running, she started running again after her first child to get fit, and quickly progressed to winning local races. Some encouragement from former Vikes teammate Kris led her to try mountain running in 2015, and she has found her strength lies in uphill courses, her best result yet is a 4th place finish at the World Cup race Montee Grand Ballon in 2016.
Based in Germany, Adele runs for her local club LAZ Puma Rhein-Sieg in Siegburg and is coached by Thomas Eickmann. > Back
