Sunday, September 24 2017 - Canadian Women Win NACAC Title
The Canadian women finished third, fourth and fifth to secure the NACAC Mountain Running Championship title for the first time. Colleen Wilson led the Canadian team with a third place finish in her first ever mountain race. Chantelle Groenewoud finished in fourth place with Adrienne Gomes seconds behind.
On the men's side, Gareth Hadfield was the top Canadian in fourth place and Allan Brett finished sixth. The Canadian men finished third in the team competition.
Mexico swept individual gold with championship performances from Juan Carlos Caiera Casas in the men's race and Susana Bautista Villegas in the women's race.

Thursday, September 21 2017 - Canada Hosts the 14th NACAC Mountain Running Championships this Weekend
The national teams are beginning to arrive in Canada for the 14th NACAC Mountain Running Championships in Golden, BC this weekend.
The event will feature mountain runners from Canada, the United States and Mexico.
The Canadian men are looking to continue their success when hosting the NACAC Championships, having won the team championship on home turf when Canada last hosted in 2015. The Canadian women are still seeking their first team title.
