The 2020 Canadian Mountain Running Championships will be hosted by the Golden Mountain Challenge on June 27th, 2020 in Golden, BC. The race will also be the 2020 NACAC Mountain Running Championships and will feature the best athletes from Canada, the United States, Mexico and El Salvador and other countries. The Canadian Mountain Running Championships are the main way to qualify for the World Mountain Running Team that will compete in the 36th World Mountain Running Championships in Lanzarote (Canary Islands), Spain on November 14-15, 2020.
The 2020 Canadian Long Distance Mountain Running Championships will be hosted by the Quebec Mega Trail (QMT 50) race on July 4, 2020 at Mont Saint-Anne, QC. Find out more about the event here: QMT 50
Two qualifying spots will be available for the first and second male and female finishers at the Canadian Long Distance Championships who will automatically qualify for the World Long Distance Mountain Running Team that will compete in the 17th World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships in Lanzarote (Canary Islands), Spain on November 14-15, 2020.
This year there will also be a Western Canadian Long Distance Mountain Running Championships. The 2020 Western Canadian Long Distance Mountain Running Championships will be hosted by the North Face Dirty Feet Kal Park 50 on May 3, 2020 in Vernon, BC. Find out more about the event here: Kal Park 50
