Canada is sending one of its strongest and largest team in years to the World Mountain Running Championships in Premana, Italy on July 30th, 2017.
This year at nationals, the top three competitors from each event qualified for the World Championships. The teams include a mix of experienced mountain runners and newcomers to the sport.
This marks the first time in more than ten years that the Canadian team includes a junior women's team.
